This Is Me
As an introvert, I love to unwind with a good book and a cup of tea. My long-term love for books and the written word has led me to discover my passion for writing. Having a career as a writer is what teachers and parents have always expected of me. Not in a controlling way, but because they saw my talent and love for writing. I remember my fourth grade teacher told me that she could not wait to see a novel with my name on it on the shelves. However, as obvious as the idea of me pursuing a career in writing was to others, it took me years to see a similar possibility. I am currently pursuing my associates in general studies at LBCC. I am still trying to discover what sort of writing related major I wish to pursue next. I'm taking this feature writing class so that I can get a taste for journalism and writing for a newsletter. I hope to travel internationally and attend a foreign university for my masters. ...
